How it works

Two ways to make your film

Some teams want to direct every frame themselves. Others want an expert to take it from idea to final cut. Gatepax Studios does both, and you can switch at any point.

Self-serve · Early access

Studio

Type a prompt or paste a script. Studio drafts a shot-by-shot storyboard, renders every scene and cuts it to music, and you stay in control of each frame.

  • Prompt or script to storyboard
  • Scenes, cast and camera work generated for you
  • Your own product images, logos and screens
  • Export in widescreen and vertical

White-glove

Hire a Director

Work with a Gatepax director who writes the script, builds the storyboard with you and produces the finished film. You approve; we handle everything else.

  • Creative concept and script
  • Storyboard review before anything is rendered
  • Production, narration and music
  • Delivered in every format you need

Start in Studio and bring in a director whenever you want a second pair of eyes.

Studio · Self-serve

Direct your own film, from a single prompt

Studio is our self-serve app for teams that want to move fast and make lots of video: product launches, campaign variations, social cuts.

A 30-second launch film for a minimalist steel watch. Calm, quiet luxury, morning light. End on the dial and our logo.

Prompt to storyboard

Describe the film you want. Studio writes the script and lays out every shot, so you can review it before anything is rendered.

A consistent cast

Characters keep the same face, wardrobe and look from the first shot to the last.

Your product, exactly

Upload real product photos, app screens or artwork. They're composited into the film, never redrawn by AI.

Voice and music

Natural narration and a music bed, mixed so the voice always sits clearly on top.

Every format

Native widescreen and vertical versions, composed for each screen rather than cropped afterwards.

Change a scene, not the film

New price, new date, new line? Re-render one shot instead of starting over.

Our approach

How we build a film

Every Gatepax film starts as a storyboard: a script, a shot list and a timeline you can read in two minutes. Here's an example, for a fictional brand.

Storyboard

“Quiet Hours”

Halden, a fictional watchmaker

  • 30 seconds
  • 6 shots
  • 24 fps
  • 16:9 + 9:16
  • Narration + score
  1. Shot 01

    0:00–0:04 · 4s

    Wide · slow push-in

Before dawn. A quiet apartment; first light moves across a desk.

Narration: “There's an hour before the world wakes up.”

Sound: Room tone, a single piano note

  2. Shot 02

    0:04–0:09 · 5s

    Close-up · rack focus

Hands fasten the watch. The second hand slides into focus.

Narration: “An hour that belongs only to you.”

    Sound: Strings enter, soft

  3. Shot 03

    0:09–0:15 · 6s

    Medium · handheld

She carries coffee to the window. Light catches the dial.

    No narration

    Sound: Score rises, no voice

  4. Shot 04

    0:15–0:20 · 5s

    Macro · locked off

The dial in detail, composited from the real product photography.

Narration: “Halden. Made for the quiet hours.”

Sound: Music ducks under the voice

  5. Shot 05

    0:20–0:26 · 6s

    Wide · slow pull-out

The city wakes below. She steps out into the morning.

Narration: “Keep them with you, all day.”

    Sound: Full score, city ambience

  6. Shot 06

    0:26–0:30 · 4s

    End card

Logo, collection name and call to action.

    Narration: “The Quiet Hours collection.”

    Sound: Final chord, rings out

Story before pixels

We write the script first and time it at a natural pace, about two and a half words a second, so nothing is rushed.

Planned like a shoot

Every shot has a framing, a camera move and a purpose. Lengths are set to the frame before anything is rendered.

Real product, every time

Hero shots of your product are composited from your own photography, so the details are exactly right.

Sound with the picture

Narration, music and ambience are designed alongside the shots, not added at the end.

Choose your path

Studio or a director?

Not sure which fits? Most teams use both: a director for the hero film, Studio for everything that follows.

Lifelike performance

Natural expressions, eye-lines and movement, with lip-synced dialogue when the script calls for it.

Brand-exact details

Logos, products, packaging and artwork stay exactly as they are. We composite them; we don't let AI redraw them.

Finished sound

Narration, music and mix mastered for broadcast and for social feeds.

20B+parameters

State-of-the-art cinematic models

We work with the latest generation of cinematic video models, choosing the right one for each shot: scene generation, animating a still, or a performance with lip-synced dialogue.

96 GBGPU memory

Data-centre GPUs

Every shot renders at full quality on its own data-centre GPU, and shots render side by side, so a whole film comes together in parallel.

0 → Nelastic capacity

A render farm that scales

Our cloud render farm scales up for your project and back down to zero when it's done. Capacity is there when your film needs it, with no idle machines in between.

3automated checks per cut

Measured, not guessed

Every cut goes through automated checks: lip-sync scoring, a transcript of the narration against the script, and frame-accurate timing.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Is anything actually filmed?

No cameras, crews or sets. Scenes, cast and camera work are generated with AI and directed shot by shot. Your real product images, logos and screens are composited in, so they look exactly right.

Should I use Studio or hire a director?

If you have a clear idea and want speed and volume, use Studio. If it's a launch, a brand film, or you'd like creative help, hire a director. Many teams use both, and you can bring in a director at any point.

When can I use Studio?

Studio is in early access. Join the list and we'll invite you as places open.

How long does a director project take?

It depends on the film's length and how many versions you need. Your director will give you a timeline with the quote, and nothing is rendered until you approve the storyboard.

What formats do you deliver?

Widescreen (16:9) and vertical (9:16) masters as standard, each composed for its screen. Other sizes are available on request.

Have a launch coming up?

Tell us what you’re making. We’ll come back with ideas and a storyboard outline, or an invitation to Studio.
